New displays for the shuttle warehouses of KHS GmbH
KHS GmbH is a long-standing partner of w3logistics AG, which manufactures filling and packaging systems in the beverage and liquid food sectors. The company, headquartered in Dortmund, is recognised as one of the world's leading suppliers in its sector. w3logistics AG has been working together with KHS GmbH for more than 15 years and together they have successfully completed numerous projects. Now w3logistics has introduced new displays for the shuttle warehouses at the KHS site in Hamburg.
External tablets, which were prepared with software from w3logistics, now enable KHS GmbH to view relevant information such as the position, quantity and images of the goods in the shuttle warehouses. The external displays meet the latest technical standards and are an addition to the permanently installed standard displays on the Kardex shuttles. Another function of the new tablets is the 2D view of the load units, which makes it much easier for employees to find the goods they are looking for. This can also reduce errors during order picking.
