Improving processes with w3logistics
w3logistics has already successfully completed several projects with Hera and was able, for example, to support the warehouse management and material flow control with w3/max, to assist in the conversion of the conveyor technology, especially the picking stations, and to provide important key figures for the company with a statistics tool.
In the current project, the existing PC client was ported to the latest w3/max version. The existing processes and functionalities were completely taken over and newly implemented with a new design, optimised usability and improved handling.
In addition, the label printing module was revised, which now enables Hera to create customised labels and layouts and to select individual printers to use different label shapes. For this purpose, the relevant aspects have been added to the programme mask.
"The porting of the PC client and the possibilities to modify labels are important steps to further improve our processes. We are satisfied with the result of the project and plan to continue the cooperation with w3logistics for the further modernisation of the warehouse this year", says Axel Pollmann, Head of Manufacturing and Logistics at Hera GmbH & Co. KG.
